Digi Stamps… your new best friend for foiling

If you have a laser printer at home and a laminator style foiling machine you can create some beautiful cards with digi stamps.

What are digi stamps?

Digi stamps are digital line drawings that you can download and print and add all your different methods of colouring methods to. So many companies now do these, you often find free downloads on craft sites a couple I found are:-

Craft World - this links to all the freebie downloads have a scroll through and there are some real gems here.

Hunkydory - again there are some real gems here

Spectrum Noir - These are colouring downloads but they can be resized to whatever size you want.

Polkadoodles - There are a few freebies here, but also many more for less than £1

Once downloaded you can just print and colour, but for the extra indulgent card you can then also add foil. to do this, just print the image on a laser printer. If you are colouring with water based mediums you will get a better result if you foil then colour, however if you are using alcohol based mediums you are much better off colouring then foiling because the alcohol can react with the foil and leave patches on the foil.
